    Talking Human Zoo

    this article caught my eye in the news today!!

    great stuff isnt it! if other animals can be locked up in cages, why is it inhumane to cage humans?!?!?

    "A lot of people think humans are above other animals,'' he told The Associated Press. "When they see humans as animals, here, it kind of reminds us that we're not that special.''

    i do love it how they are allowed to go home at night thou...

    why dont we allow the animals time off from thier caged "lives"...

    I guess they'd run away... unless we paid them... I dunno...

    That is a really interesting article. I've never heard of someone actually putting Homo sapiens on display at a zoo (but they sound happy in their zoo "environment"). What a pity that animals can't voice whether or not they want to volunteer to be put on display.

    It's funny how the article said kids were asking why there were people in the exhibits. I remember when I was really young and first learned that humans were animals. Before that, it was natural for me to assume that humans were different. Like, there were humans, animals, bugs, and plants, and all those were completely separate. I wasn't awfully bright.
