Hey everyone. I was just wondering if anybody on the forum lives in Jacksonville. I am moving there in a few months and wanted to find out more about the place. It would be nice to make a friend as well.

No, but I live within a little car trip's driving distance. My mom lived there in her teens.
Make sure to keep on the lookout for good vegan options around the city, my family and I go to shop and eat occasionally. Also, it's fun to shop at Town Center. They have a P.F. Chang's there and really nice shops.

Thanks Lindsay for the info I've eaten at the P.F. Chang's and the Cheesecake Factory there but that was in my pre-vegan days I did hear that there were some options at the Cheesecake Factory suitable for vegans... but who knows. How far do you live from Jax?

I was in Jacksonville on business once. No offense, but I really disliked it. I had trouble finding food and just otherwise didn't like it. Now, I was only there for three or four days, and I didn't get out of the part of town the hotel was in. Maybe it's not that bad.
She has been offline for a while. She is also in the process of moving, so I have heard. I think she will be back soon. Sorry again about your pup SurfNSun.
