    Default replacing milk with water in recipes

    can i use water instead of milk in some recipes?

    i was in the process of making muffins, and realized i was out of soy milk. can i use water instead?

    Yes. Milk isn't much thicker than water and I'd just add a little oil to the mix to give water the viscosity and fat it lacks.
