I wouldn't trust alot of the chinese places around here either unless i was positive thye could understand me well enough to know there is no animal derrivatives, alot seem to use oyster and fish sauce in stirfried veggies, or they use the same woks, pans etc.
Anyways tonight i am having indian split pea soup and a kalmata olive bread= a mixture of ethnicities
that does look good witchy. lentils dont usually go over well with meateaters when trying to get them to eat vegan food lol. you have to make something with more kick. i bet your lentil dish was scrumptious though!!
tonight i had 2 bean burritos and mexi fries. it was really yummy.

I have yet to cook a meal that my mum likes. She is obsessed and seems to refuse to like anything anymore...she is a vegetarian but is considering going back to meat as it is "so nice in curry". Hm...
Tonight is "Smoky Beans" (Recipe from "Vegan Cooking For One" - Leah Leneman, Pg 6)
Pictures later, lets see if my mum likes this one.

Whole wheat noodles with zuchini, squach, carrots, garlic, broccoli, fresh cracked pepper, with a little bit of olive oil and a light balsamic dressing on the side. Boy was that good
It was, but my mum likes lots and lots of flavour with things. lol Although she said it had NO flavour although it did because I could taste it. Hmm...

Vegan Chinese stirfry made with seitan, onion, red and green peppers, mushrooms, courgette, water chestnut and bamboo shoots with spinach noodles. Mmm nice.
theyre basically halves or smaller peices of potatoes, baked, then the flesh is scooped out and replaced with cheese, bacon bits, green onion and topped with sour cream.
i just got some potatoes, cooked them in the microwave, cut them in half, scooped out most of the flesh, filled them with my cheese sauce, topped with vegan bacon bits and baked until crispy. afterwards i put a little dallop of vegan sour cream and sprinkled with parsley. theyre great with guacamole or salsa.
I just had my dinner: veggie soup (barley, black beans, onions, tomato, mushrooms, carrots [My first time making my own soup, very yummy!]) and a big glass of water. I'm about to eat a thick slice of bread with PB for dessert.
yum del and daricsmami those dinners sounds great!
tonight im making gluten free pizza crust!!! woohoo. the toppings will be sundried tomatoes, onion, green pepper, pineapple, and maybe olives. it will be drizzled with my "cheese" sauce.

I am hungover today and ate a big lunch (I went to a Thai restaurant) so I am thinking a peanut butter and jam sandwich with nice salty crisps will hit the spot for dinner...
