could france veg help with info etc??
Shepherdboy organic muesli with millet and hemp seeds, here.
Usually a cup of tea and toast with banana or muesli with rice/soya milk. I used to eat almost any type of cereal at any time of day but I've gone off much of the processed stuff. I've been making my own granola recently and eating it with soya yoghurt-Yum! I can't manage cooked stuff until at least lunch time.

Two vegan sausage patties and a glass of fresh squeezed OJ (had it this very morning in fact).
I don't know if anyone mentioned this one - banana and peanut butter sandwiches! MMmmmm... Elvis used to eat em... maybe Elvis was a vegan! :O

I enjoy a vegan sausage patty and a glass of OJ...not the healthiest choice I know, but I always crave if for breakfast.
TOTAL cereal!!
oh yeah, with Vanilla Silk soymilk, and maybe an apple... this is my breakfast almost every day of the year...
For those of you lucky enough to live near a Trader Joe's, they have just come out with a new breakfast sausage patty (frozen food section - TJ Brand) that is really good, and vegan. I think it's because they combine soy and gluten - the texture is nice. If you were a big sausage-eater in your past days, you will like this one.

Will have to find a Trader Joe's when I am next in the US!
A couple of organic apples sliced up and spread with peanut butter.
It is a monstrous thing to do, to slay a unicorn...you have slain something pure and defenceless and you will have but a half life, a cursed life, from the moment the blood touches your lips.
I usually have plain oatmeal, with a banana and a glass of orange juice. Sometimes I have organic peanut butter with some celery, if available.
That is like my exact breakfast, without the OJPilaf

Zedz Foods muffins are delicious. You can order them directly from their website, which I did today. They are making them tomorrow and freeze packing them to be sent the next day. They just taste so wholesome![]()
Recommend their banana, coconut and date one, with big pieces of the fruits in it.

My favourite is museli and soya or out milk. I also really like porridge with added seeds (usually pumpkin, sunflower or sesame) which i think is probably healthier (?)
I like food topics![]()
lately for breakfast ive been having some fruit, a smoothie, or scrambled tofu. (usually i dont consider a peice of fruit to be breakfast so i usually just count it as a snack!)
"you dont have to be tall to see the moon" - african proverb
Waffles! Yum!
Hemp waffles! Double yum!
two freshly sqeezed oranges, banana , two apples and toast, if i have museli i have it with prunes and apricots, just love the combination of taste![]()
i always eat sultanas for breakfast, im addicted to them! usually also a bananna and another piece of fruit depending on what weve bought. if we buy a huge bag of apples on sale, its apples for a week!
always drink soya milk and also have roibus (south african) tea with soya in the morning![]()
in winter i like oatmeal.
I just bought 3 locally made jams (well local to where I was), yesterday at a roadside fruit stand. I am looking forward to trying them out on English Muffins and fresh toast!!
Lately I have been addicted to Chestnut spread for breakfast though. Mmmmmm!
i love locally made jams!
my dad used to take me berry picking when i was a kid in new zealand, and then go home and make heaps of strawberry and rasberry jam for the winter..but we always finnished it all well before winter began!

I usually just have a big bowl of Suma organic museli with sunflower seeds, chopped dates and a load of other nice things. I have it with soya milk. I really eat a lot of muesli, must be nearly 2kg a week of the stuff.
I really love Norganics Apple and cinnamon Crunchola!!! yummy and so addictive.
I have it mixed with a weightwatchers apricot fruit pack, and it tastes so divine!
i also like to have prunes on the side. I like having things like prunes at breakfast, so you can just sit down and enjoy the taste becoz otherwise its a waste to eat things like prunes during the day if ya cant concentrate on how good they are![]()
I also love mini wheats.
I have to eat porrige and I don't like it but I've been mixing tinned mango with it and that makes it nice. Banana would be good too.
When it's cooked I put sunflower and linseeds in it and some maple syrup. Finally it is edible and delicious.
I aslo really like King Land soy yoghurt, the apricot is my favourite.
Pancakes with ice cream, maple syrup and a tart berry compote or coulis is the best breakfast in the universe.
Why do you HAVE to eat it Adam?? I decided i dont like porrige much. so i dont eat it often. But when i do have it, i like to mix chopped dred apricots and nutrisweet in. **yummy**adam antichrist

What are you doing still up????!!!!![]()

I have terrible anxiety which is about 75% controllable through diet, and the bestest thing to eat first thing is porrige as it lines the stomach preventing the shrinking which triggers anxiety (in me)
Well PARDON ME!!! I'll be sure to ask you next time im up after 10:00 !!!!!![]()

ahem, anywho.......thanks for that bit of late night education about anxiety. I have to say, it would truely suck to have to eat something you hate. I used to NEVER and i mean NEVER drink ANY waterbut then i got healthy and now i drink lots. I'm sure there was a point to this post, but i cant remember it now

Scrambled tofu on wholemeal toast since some kind soul on here taught be how to make it. Yum.![]()
My turn of mind is so given to taking things in the absurd point of view that it breaks out in spite of me every now and then.

If i could be at all bothered, or if i could even cook a mildly good meal, i am sure that i would always have blueberry pancakes with sogood vanilla icecream and maple syrup. Yes, i think so. But since i cannot do this, or be bothered, i will wait until i move to the UK in about 5 years and i will go out to a good vegan breakfast place and order one.
I would also love to have a whole box of vegan poptarts to myself when they are invented
EVERYONE STOP TALKING ABOUT PANCAKES!![]()
pancakes with lemon and icing sugar...mmmm....oh, sorry roxy!!!
***think non-pancake thoughts, think non-pancake thoughts***![]()
other than pancakes....

i make smoothies for breakfast with fresh fruit...
im not a fruit person ...its wierd...just dont dig fruit like i do veggies...
so i figure that since i like smoothies, i may as well just chop up my 3 servings of fruit and eat it in a breakfast smoothie with some protien powder.
yay for blenders...the best creation since vegan sour cream....lol.![]()

I'm on a banana soy smoothie kick at the moment. Very very tasty.
I quite like the sound of the scrambled tofu recipe on post punk kitchen though.
This is tough. I love smoothies, egg-less french toast, Optimum Zen cereal, and cinnamon toast with Earth Balance almost all equally, and usually have a combination of two of those items.
mmm smoothies

When we have a party at the house we have a proper huge cooked breakfast the morning after. Normally this includes:
Baked beans
Fried potatoes
Grilled tomatoes
Fried mushrooms
Fried onions
Fried or baked vegan sausages
Toast
This is one of my favourite breakfasts though I don't have it more than 2 or 3 times a year![]()
All of the above list (appart from baked beans which are devils spawn), but more than 3 times a year and with some scrambled tofu on the toast and some fried potato cakes
They had wicked big fried vegan breakfasts at a festival I went to about a month ago, i spent far far too much money on food that weekend![]()

MMMM! Maple Syrup Soysages are the BEST! I cook them as usual and in the last minute, I pour a bit of maple syrup over them and sear in the sweet goodness...it makes them quite juicy and sweet!
cc, when you make congee what kind of rice do you use? also, i have these rice flakes i bought a while ago to make porridge with. do these even have any nutritional benefit? i assume congee is much healthier (although its the same thing i think, the rice flakes are just flat peices of rice)
"you dont have to be tall to see the moon" - african proverb
Well, I use short grain or long grain brown rice, basmati, jasmine... any unhulled rice really!
The rice flakes are processed, "milled" and I would venture to say that whole, natural grains are best! The rice flakes we have here are not as high in fiber or nutrients as whole, unprocessed rice...I bet they make a tasty porridge though!
Just remember, when it comes to nutritional value, whole, natural, unprocessed is best![]()
I bought some puffed wheat cereal, 100% whole wheat it says. Pretty good. And at only 59calories per bowl compared to 150+cals with other cereals, it's good and filling and lets me have some more fruit or higher cal morning snacks.
thats okhappycow
I think of scoobie doo too... ruby is my dogs name anyway...
I make the maple sausages same way as conscious cuisine. theyre sooo good
Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
okay, thanks cc. i always use long grain brown rice anyways so i cant wait to try congee with it![]()

My favourite breakfast is a bowl of mixed fresh fruits, with some LSA sprinkled on top, plus a teaspoon of tahini, and moistened with soymilk.
