There's the TiggyWinkles hedgehog rescue centre. And they take in badgers, foxes reptiles and Liverpudlians.

I've just had a dekko at their site. They need foster carers who live within a 30-mile radius of their Buckinghamshire HQ.

I have been to tiggywinkles in devon. It was so wonderful seeing all the good work they did and so lovely to be so close to the wonderful hedgehogs.
Shame there is nothing like that here in Peterborough. Unless you could magic up somewhere for me Martin

You could pop over to Ferry Meadows and feed the ducks

    Im often on this site:http://www.kazzys-cavies.co.uk/forum/default.asp

a lot of the members run rescues for guinea pigs, they are all over the country and give great advice Ive had 2 wonderful piggies from a rescue i heard of thru this site. They often have other rodents too or know of rescues for other types of rodents.

I too am looking into this, though, i was kept awake for most of last night by the rats we have living in our house, whilst i was in Bristol they took it upon themsleves to have a good look aoround my room and came across my secret store of food. They were back last night munching on what was left over in my cupboard, and tonight there is a (nice) trap waiting for them.....

I'll be interested to see if you catch any - I think rats are almost impossible to (nicely) trap - not that I'd consider trapping them any other way - just saying..... let us know

Puffy, here are a few ideas. I concentrated on badger, hedgehog type of sites. There are any number of dog, cat, horse and donkey centres.

There's a Tiggywinkles in Haddenham - I think it's the Cambridgeshire one. Half way down page on right side, under 'Specialist Rescue':
