Default Vegan cooking course in US/ Canada

    Hello friends !

Can anyone suggest which is good culinary school to apply either in US or Canada. I have no previous cooking experience. I am learning this to introduce more varied and delicous vegan food in the community. I wud prefer a shorter course not more than two years. Is there any scholarship or easy payment schemes in these schools for international students. I cannot efford hig fees. I am wondering if u can suggest or guide me into this..thanks...

I only know of one school in the US, located in New York City. It's the Natural Gourmet School and has a 4 month program. It is very expensive and does not offer scholarships. Actually, I don't know of any cooking school in the U.S. that offers scholarships for financial reasons. Some offer scholarships for other reasons (like writing essays, etc.) but none of the vegan schools.

    Good luck!

The Natural Gourmet School does offer a work-study program, making it much more afordable but it isn't a vegan school. They teach you to cook animals and animal secretions too however they also accomodate vegans who would like to become Chefs. I say one of the best ways to become a vegan Chef is to apprentice! Learn from someone who does this professionally and go from there!

I suggested to BravoTV that they send their contestants on Top Chef to that school before they do another episode on "vegetarian" cooking. What were those people thinking
