Hi all, my names Laura and im 21 and im from Bristol in the UK (Geez, didnt realise that was going to sound so much like someone introducing themselves on Blind Date!!)

Ive been Vegan for about a week, but was vegetarian since i was 9 before this. Im going to uni to study veterinary medicine and im hoping to specialise in equine medicine in the future.

I joined the forum to chat to like mined people and learn more about veganism and hopefully find answers to any questions that i have.

Hope ure all enjoying the summer (or lack of it if ure in the Uk!!)

Thanks Steve, this is the first time ive written anything on a forum and i must admit i found it quite daunting! How have you found being vegan for such a long time? Any problems with eating out, eating at friends houses etc?

Laura check out Vegan bristol and be sure to go to the Bristol vegan fayre on 30th October. Hopefully several people from here will be going. It does feel a little difficult when you start posting on a new forum, we've all been there so don't worry.
