After your posts and the url, I asked the editor of Vegan Voice mag (Sienna Blake) if they have any WA contacts, this was her reply:

We have only one outlet in WA - Manna Wholefoods in Fremantle. We do have some subscribers in Perth, but no contacts as such. If the person/s on the forum would like me to, I could run a free classified in the March issue [of Vegan Voice], asking for interested Perth vegans to contact them...

I haven't vsited this forum since my last post so only just reading your replies...

The website now has the URL of http://www.perthveg.com and I have been busily updating it with all the info I can.

Thanks for the ideas Flojo. A cooking class sounds interesting. Friends and myself dream of starting up a vego restuarant one day. We miss the diversity of the Peppers menu. I have recently been in contact with the organiser of the Mindarie Vegan Social Day group - http://www.vegansworldnetwork.org/wv...rieWA-307.html - and I'm going to join them for their next meet which will be around February sometime (note the website date has yet to be correct). Also there is discussion on the Club-Veg and Perth Vegan groups about a dinner or picnic, if we get enough interest people.

I am a subscriber to Vegan Voice myself, and I share the same surname as the editor, which is interesting - well to me anyway. Thanks for that Eve. I have been meaning to get in contact with them too see if they could put the website in the contact section. So will get my self into gear...

Hi all, I've just joined the Vegan Forum.

There are vegans & vegetarians gathering at the PAWS shopfront on Beaufort Street (cnr of Aberdeen) - if you haven't been, come in and check it out. See the website: www.paws.org.au.

Not sure if there are cooking classes being run, but at PAWS, we cook dinner on Monday nights and you can volunteer to help cook - so that is basically a free cooking class!

Was it anything in particular you were looking for? I can cook, so I might be able to help you out with info, recipes etc.
