Well come on now...it's better than the twigs and leaves us vegans have been eating since the dawn of time!
The taste of anything in my mouth for 5 seconds does not equate to the beauty and complexity of life.
yeah. we should be thankful...
Indeed, and here's why:
http://www.babymilkaction.org/pages/boycott.html
http://boycottnestle.blogspot.com/
The boycott has been going on for years and has had no impact on their stance on baby milk. I still boycott them though, but that's no hardship as I don't like coffee or sugary cereals and there are plenty of other vegan after eight type mints available.
I know they are annoying and superficial for their reasons to changing the ingrediants, but in their defense they did give a kind of indepth explanation (from a large company in response to a complaint anyway) of why they changed it, and a list of what we can eat of theirs - Although I wouldn't have any of the things on that list!
Still I have hardly ever had after eights in the past that have turned white, and never heard anyone moaning about it, surely it cannot be a problem for such a large amount of people that they need to change the recipe?! I'm gonna ask around now, see if the problem of the bloom is really so terrible!
I agree. There are of course vegan ways for chocolate manufacturers to cut down on fat/sugar bloom too, for instance Aquamin F.Nestle Email
If adding milk to after eights stops vegans from buying nestle products then i'm all for the change

Tesco are selling Christmas Mint thins very similar to After Eights and are vegan and they are £1.04 a box bargin!
They have Mint and Orange flavors, purchased some yesterday and shared them with people at work, everyone liked them.
