    Default supermarkets promoting unhealthy food

Nice to see that the Co-op came first!
Rest of the article is not so nice though...

Yay for the Co-op! They have always been top supermarket in my opinion, since I first discovered their huge range of own-brand, BUAV endorsed toiletry and cleaning products

I just wish they would include information about their animal testing policy in their advertisements. I wonder why they don't?

Anyway, to get back on topic, it's so annoying, every time I go to Tesco there always seem to be so many cakes, biscuits, crisps, ready-meals containing dead animals and crap, etc. etc. all piled up on special offer, and I can hardly ever find similar offers on the healthy foods I want to buy. It's all wrong .

Which supermarket is that for? We get the Safeway flyer here and it's front page is always animal flesh.

I like receiving the Planet Organic flyer and the Choices flyer. It's always got really good deals on a lot of vegetarian products.

That's an interesting point, foxy. It's what I know from the flyers of all the supermarkets in Germany, and often they promote organic produce.
I've never seen this happen in UK supermarket flyers.

I know! I don't shop there. I do my shopping at Save-On Foods. I have 2 quite locally. My boyfriend is a produce manager with IGA Marketplace. He has an extensive organics section that he set up at his store .......but of course they shove the produce pages way at the back of the flyer.
