and i just found this...which sounds good to make at some point...
Mix together equal parts lemon juice, orange juice and lime juice.
    Add fresh minced garlic
fresh dill and your favorite salad herbs
    pinch of celtic salt

I love citrus dressings. I have an orange poppy seed one from Annies' that is delish but I am sure it isnt raw...i never thought of dressings!

One of my little but important daily goals is to drink more water! I'm a coffee freak, which of course is not healthy, I know...

Well, today I've got a lot of water in....but then I'll have to start all over again tomorrow. I just get really tired of water ... I WANT COFFEE!!!

Peas, try drinking herbal tea as something to change it up a bit if you get tired of plain water. Then you get great taste, and the benefit of water!

So true, Steph. Walking is almost a spiritual experience - I love it! I walk my dog 1-2 hours a day and we stop to smell the flowers, find interesting sites and things...I feel sorry for people who never have (or take) time to even walk down their own street. Definitely not how I want to live my life.

My goal for this trimester is to get an A in my math class. This will be difficult, but I can do it if I really try.

Also, I need to find some alternative to the class I have to take for my last p.e. credit, because I will drown if I have to take a water polo class.

And I need to send out the stuff for my college before the end of the week.

And I need to make sure I remake everything I've missed for school these past days.

great goals everyone! i hope everyones keeping up with theirs well!

im not keeping up with my raw goal. i just dont have enough raw food! and would rather spend all that money that i would spend for that one raw day, on food for the whole week, so ill wait until i have a little more money to do this goal.

id like to set another goal:

    DRINK MORE WATER.

i dont drink enough water. maybe ill start with a 6 cup goal (3 glasses) for a couple weeks.

we'll see how i can keep up with this one!

ive been doing good with my water lately. alot better than i used to.

i have a mini goal for tommorow. i want to try to eat some healthier things. someof the healthy foods i have are apples, celery (which i could put natural peanut butter on, if we still have some, i dont remember) brown rice, beans, soy milk, romaine lettuce and red onion for salad, kiwis, grapes, and thats it i think. so maybe ill have beans and a fruit for lunch and brown rice and soy milk for dinner. and maybe some salad aswell. and some celery and peanut butter for a snack if i want one. and i might make bread so i could have alfalfa sandwiches.

how are everyone elses goals coming along?

i also only had 4 cups of water today, so i didnt reach my goal for water today. (i would drink it all now but im about to go to sleep and will have to wake up too many times!)

I walked yesterday and then treated myself to an avocado. But found out avocados have 24g of fat and around 200-300 calories. Yikes. I felt like I "wasted" my walk, if that makes sense.

i need to be stronger willed in certain areas of my life...and less in others.

i need to decide what is and isnt good for me...well, i guess i already know, i just need to stick to it... (stop self-depreciating actions)

i need to decide what i really would like to do with my life...

i need to decorate my apartment and get more plants...

overall i think my problem is balance... i need to work on it.

the aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware, joyously, dunkenly, serenely, divinely aware.

For me, setting daily goals is really working. I feel like I am getting so much more out of my life.

I am feeling more motivated and by achieving my daily goals, it's helping to work towards achieving my larger goals - such as sticking with Yoga classes and I've also signed up for an Aromatherapy seminar and workshop in February!

Im not doing very well with my goals at the moment. I want to start running again, get back to work and be more organised. When I work I am sometimes out of the house from 8.30 in the morning until 9.30 at night cos I have three different jobs. I am desperate to get my garden looking lovely this year. I have a balcony on my house that looks out to the river. I would like to get a herb garden set up out there. I did say that last year though.. sigh....

good for you. i am still overweight in the health books but i live in one of the fattest cities in the u.s. so if feel good! i lost all of my weight by just going vegan. no more grilled cheese and fries- no more crap food. i can't just eat everything in front of me. i don't feel restricted, i feel liberated. i have been on a chocolate binge lately but i keep it in moderation because i know if i eat all the chocolate i will either have to order it on line or drive 20 miles to get more.

i seriously can't see how you are overweight, unless you are really photogenic!

To make a new recipe every week...and hopefully get the stupid recipe to go right. (Yep i'm blaming the recipes)

    Walk the dog more...

    Do my homework more...

    Try and be myself more...

    Yep...

Yes, and as long as you are eating a balanced vegan diet and taking the best care of yourself, I agree 100%!

tina, the charts arent made with all sorts of body types in mind.

theyre made for the "normal people".

who whants to be normal anyway...pshaw!

i say if you feel good with yourself & eat good & balanced screw the charts!!
