Mine is Nasoya organic silken tofu (from WO), 45 calories a serving (also about 3 oz.), 20 calories from fat. It does not say on it anywhere "firm" or "extra-firm." It's just silken.

Are your silken tofus similar to regular tofu, Diane? Because mine, this Nasoya, is always really soft.

Artichoke, it's totally different from regular tofu. I only use it for desserts, dressings, smoothies and sauces. It's too soft to interchange with regular tofu (from the refriderated section). I think the silken you have would be classified as extra-firm silken tofu.

Perhaps Naysoya only makes one type? I'm now itching to get to the nearest WO and check out the label on the soft type!

I might go to an Asian grocery today just to see what they have. I heard there was an ethnic grocery in town with Indian, Mexican, and Oriental, but I haven't found any searches on it.

I guess I can be nice, there are a few Asian grocers in Naptown. I am not sure about the first two, if they are still in business or not.

Yeah, I went to Arirang. They had soft tofu, just like the regular store, but no subcategories. They did have spring roll wrappers (not the gross dried ones that are too thin) in the freezer section! Yay! I will master egg rolls/spring rolls now and sweet & sour sauce.
