Only 152 days to go until the 1st major vegan fayre of the year.

    Bristol Vegan Fayre 2006

    Sat 10th Jun 2006

    10:00 until 18:00

L - Shed, Bristol Industrial Museum, Princes Wharf, Wapping Road,
    Central Bristol, BS1 4RN.

Could there be more of an outside thing going on this year, could there be more of a vegan bar-b-que thing, could there be more of a stage and music thing bigging it up, could there be live coverage of England v Paraguay in the World Cup, could it be balmy bristol summer weather, could there be a Paraguayan / South America themed thing, could there be some kinda fancy dress / best sombrero comp.

Did I mention the world cup being screened live at the fayre?

More details coming soon, see Vegan Bristol and Yaoh websites.

Hoooray it's in the summer fantastic looking forward to it and it does not clash with any beach bum trips or summer camping.

Yeah, much better for me too in the summer! Went last year for the first time and liked it. If the weather's nice it might encourage more people to go!

We hope to make it to Bristol this time though living near London we don't usually go that far away, our Bristol friends came to our New Year's Eve Party so we hope to go and meet them there in June.
Does anyone here (Gertvegan maybe?) know Shane and Heike from Bristol?

I suspect this year stall holders will have a better idea of what they can sell at a vegan fayre, and if they're unsure then to ask.

I think it's great the Bristol vegan fayre is in the Summer this year, i look forward to lounging around outside, dishing out some flyers and getting Bristol people along to the fayre.

BTW I know where to get the best chocolate cake at the Bristol vegan fayre!

I will be at Bristol, went last year and loved it I will no doubt be stopping the Sat night - would love to go to any meet up that might be on? I will prob pop into the fair both days and will have to visit Fresh and Wild whilst there for more supplies.........such good choice there! and some wonderful vegan muffins and cakes too

Id be happy to go for food, drink and chat, not too keen on clubs these days as cant stand smoke filled atmospheres for too long

Am waiting to see if the travelodge gets any £26 rooms - not keen on the £55 price at the mo!

Don't know if anyone has got one but if you need a great t-shirt then the "Vegan Bristol Fayre" one is fantastic.
Therefore i sent a PM to Gertvegan who said he had a few left and i have just bought a couple more off him. Andi (Happy Hamsters)
I've just bought a couple from Gertvegan too. I've tried mine on and think maybe I should post another pic of myself in the Sexiest Vegan poll I'm sure all who see me in it will come to the fayre!

There may well be something happening Saturday night connected with the fayre, but not organised by Yaoh, so they can concentrate on the fayre itself.

Maybe there's a coach? Are they cheaper? Train tickets can be cheaper if you book in advance. I agree it is a long way though.

If you have a local vegan group ask about coach travel, I know the Birmingham veggies and vegans group booked a coach last year about £10 each return price - cheaper than the train.

I shall get a cheap train ticket and prob stop the Sat night?
