Default What books on nutrition in pregnancy and early childhood do you recommend?

I have Feeding Your Vegan Infant with Confidence - Sandra Hood, and find that quite good and easy to read, but I want to read more

I am mainly interested in nutrition related books, since most books from US or UK that is more social related is often difficult to use in Norway. Cookbooks and books whit a lot of recopies is not that interesting, mainly because it is a LOT of the ingredients used in US and UK cookbooks that is difficult to get here.

The most important is that the information is correct, not any assumptions that isn’t grounded in anything. I mainly prefer newer books because of the speed in new research, but if it is an older and GOOD book, I might consider it.

The books is intended mainly for my own use, but also as a reference source if I ever get started on the book I want to try to write (Well, I can dream, can’t I? )

    Here are some useful links:

    Vegan pregancy info: http://www.vegfamily.com/vegan-pregnancy/index.htm

    Vegan baby/toddler info: http://www.vegfamily.com/babies-and-toddlers/index.htm

    Vegan children: http://www.vegfamily.com/vegan-children/index.htm

"Becoming Vegan" and "Raising Vegan Children in a Nonvegan World" both have a lot of great nutrition info. and the second one has some good specific for feeding children.

There is also a website called www.vegetarianbaby.com I'm sure they have some great articles on pregancy.
