    2 questions:

    1) is it vegan?
    2) what's the difference between a bottle of bach remedy and a hip flask of brandy? they both taste the same to me, and have a similar effect!

yes its vegan, and the difference is that its not JUST brandy. it has 5 flower essences in it, each to help a specific problem.

i don't really know of much else that's vegan other than stuff like chamomile tea/avoiding caffeine and trying to eat healthily (not too easy when you're already stressed). there are herbal tablets available here but they're not vegan.

being stressed sucks sorry you're going through it too Foxy

I like Bach Flower Essences. I carry a spray of Rescue Remedy with me at all times and also find it good for pets etc.

Foxy, I hope you're able to remove the cause of your stress soon and you too, Gorilla!

Rescue Remedy doesn't work for now me either, maybe because I have used it for years and years in emergency situations. I still carry it around and use it on other people and pets however.

I use Australian Bush Flower remedies, or make my own Gem Essences.

The Australian Bush Essences noted for stress and tension are

    • Black-eyed Susan
    • Crowea
    • Emergency Essence
    • Flannel Flower
    • Paw Paw

Does anyone know how much to put in a cat's drinking bowl? One of me is highly strung and gets upset and stressed easily. Think I might try her on this, as it works for me.

its four drops per each bowl of water kumem.

my naturopath was happy to see me on bach's rescue remedy. she told me it works alot better if you take drops in water, drinking the water throughout the day, therefor recieving the remedy continuously. she told me to take 15 drops in 591 mls of water, throughout the day, everyday, for 2 weeks and see how i feel. she said it works alot better when youre taking it regularly like that, rather than just once every now and then.

she also gave me some white chestnut bach's essense to try every night until it runs out, to stop me from staying up all night worrying about things.
