Default Awkward Eating - How to get the most out of not much food

I'm sort of halfway between houses atm, a long way from home and staying at a friends house. Its only a temporary thing and my friends parents are being really accomadating but I don't want to buy a heap of my food and stuff their fridge with it so I'm trying to do the minimilist things.

Atm I'm typically having a cup of tea for breakfast, a peice of fruit for morning tea, a wholegrain bun with hommus, avo and tomato for lunch, snacking on nuts and aiming for steamed greens at dinner. I'm hoping this will only last another couple of weeks at the most but thought I'd jump on here and get some opinions on how I can get the most out of food without having to restock their fridge.

Could you offer to cook some meals for them? This way you can buy the vegan ingredients you need, stuff it in their fridge and make some big meals (so there are leftovers). This way, you'll be introducing them to some delicious vegan meals, AND be feeding yourself really well at the same time

you could get some things that just happen to be vegan that anybody would eat. They might even already have some that you could just replenish.

    peanut butter and jelly
    cans of tomato soup
    pasta and sauce
quick oats with raisins and syrup
rice with vegetable stock & cans of beans and veg
Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.

Crikey! I don't think you are eating nearly enough! Especially with all the action of moving house you are gonna need your energy! Fill up on more fruit, baked potatoes are easy and cheap. Chickpea soup? Check out the recipe on the forum. I've just made it and it's YUM! Good luck with the move

Don't forget bread and cereal (if you can fit some soymilk in the fridge).

Bread gives way to many possibilities - baked beans on toast, jam on toast, sammiches.
