Hemp seeds / seed oil

I keep on forgetting I had hemp seeds in my freezer. Very yummy, much more milder than flax seeds.

There was an extensive study on blood serum cholesterol level done by Jace Callaway comparing flax and hempseed oils. Unfortunately I cannot find it right now but the gist of it was that extended use of hempseed oil in the diet will lower the blood serum cholesterol level and flax actually does the opposite.

Hopefully I can find it, it was quite revealing. In the meantime here is a great overview on the virtues of hempseed oil:

i've just bought a bottle of granovita 'omega oil blend', virgin cold pressed, 'a rich natural source of omega 3,6 & 9'

doesnt taste too bad neat, just like oil with seed flavours, it has flax oil, hemp oil, sesame oil, pumpkin oil & evening primrose oil.

conrad, does that mean hemp oil is better than flax??
