    Default VegNews Magazine

Does anyone read VegNews Magazine? I think it might be the best vegan magazine in North America so if you haven't seen it, check it out.

[Edit: link removed, see below. Korn]

Subscriptions are cheap and it is an awesome magazine.

    It's a trojan. I'm doing a virus scan now.

That really is their site, strange that it is giving out trojans. Maybe some animal corpse eater hacked it.

I do like that magazine a whole lot. I’ve browsed through Herbivore before and I really need to check that out again, Satya is another great magazine. I really need to subscribe to all three.

Yeah, I'm in the magazine, but it really is a great magazine I started getting about 6 months ago.

Sorry about the trojan in the link. I don't know what that is. I just figured I'd give a link to their website for those who hadn't seen it. And indeed, I got some virus pop-up thing when I clicked on the link. I just clicked X and got out of it. I know nothing about virus stuff but I will contact them.

Thanks for the heads up on that.

You should have an anti - virus software installed on your pc.

    I use bitdefender.

The website has some virus removal tools and a free trial download.

/Edit Just checked the site - It can scan your computer from the web.

Most free antivirus software can remove common Trojan Horses. AGV (anti-virus) is a free download. Download it and run a trojan horse scan. Quite powerful scanner.

I just contacted VegNews and they thanked me for the e-mail and the heads up. They are a bit concerned because they hadn't heard about it until I informed them.

Sorry again for that issue, obviously I had no idea it would happen. I visit their website every once in a while and have never had issues.

They are a aware and are looking into it.

Maybe this thread should be removed until they sort out the virus situation?

Maybe we should leave the thread and when they tell us they're all clear post that on here?

I've been to their site before today without any probs.

If you have an antivirus installed it should detect the Trojan and then delete or quarantine. If you don't have an antivirus program on your computer you shouldn't be on the net. Seriously. Free ones available, AVG seems to have a good rep. Usually the ones you pay for update more often.
