Hehe I love veggie haggis, being Scottish I used to make it in France as my 'cultural' dish, everyone really liked it a few asked for the recipe!
Any alternative to veg suet? We can't get it here (in fact, I didn't know it exists). Would vegetable oil or more margarine be a suitable replacement?

Vegetarian suet is a hard white (I think hydrogenated) fat, so margarine might be closer than oil, or maybe you could try something like coconut oil. If it's any consolation, almost anything is bound to be better for your arteries than vegetable suet! I'm sure I've used marg in the past, I don't remember ever buying the suet.
