are you sure you don't mean naan bread?

From where did you acquire your nan?
I've tried many different vegan ones now, but still not anything particularly great. Went through a phase of making my own a while back when I was less lazy, but never quite perfected it.

Mine turned out like naan breads, but couldn't get that tandoor cooked effect with a pizza stone and a 250 degree oven.
I used a non vegan recipe, using alpro plain soya yoghurt in place of yoghurt and golden syrup in place of honey. Not sure how authentic honey is, so could have just been a crap recipe.

Sainsbury's used to do a vegan naan bread too but I'm not sure whether they still do (or indeed whether you have Sainsbury's in Edinburgh?).
It isn't/wasn't very good thou. Tescos and Morrisons have both sold vegan versions in the past (may still do), but they're no susbstitute for the ones I used to get from restuarants.
