Cool, thanks for answering me Mr F. I thought that hiring a skip for just that would be a bit excessive.

I have one of those too now, but upstairs in my office. I managed to pick it up for about £40.
The remote on it is really annoying. It uses the same RF frequency as wireless lan, making the range crap and it really unresponsive. I can't integrate it with my home automation system and it'd be nice to be able to program it to do more than just cycling through colours.
The light it casts however is very pretty. I have it on pink most of the time. Not sure what the neighbours must think, but I guess it's better than red

A few updated shots.
Lounge coving and skirting has been finished. Walls repapered and walls painted in ecos vanilla:
Bathroom has been completely gutted and redone, as per previous 3d rendering. Floor is black granite, border slate mosiac, walls ecos parker grey. It's not a big room, but it's a bonus to have an upstairs bathroom in a victorian terrace and there's a large mirror covering the right hand wall (out of shot) which together with the white tiles makes it feel a lot bigger than it actually is:
The bedroom's been refloored, I've fitted shelving and the walls are ecos lily white:
That's all for now

your house is so amazing

We've finally (within the past couple of weeks) gotten new windows - the old ones were rotten and needed replacing several years ago.
We've sash at the front in traditional style, casement at the back.
Delivered this weekend were some curtains in gorgeous laura ashley fabric made by a family member. Picture:

From the previous bedroom pic I'd never have imagined a red wall! Lovely view imo and what beautiful windows to view it through, I love sash windows.

Looking really good Mr F. I have been meaning to ask if you ever did the things you planned in the cellar?
I have been working really hard on my place too. Some of the worst/hardest bits you cant even see! I pulled all the ceilings down on the rear side of the house as they were completely uninsulated, I put 4inch kingspan in and re-boarded and plastered. Alot of hard, dirty work, but it looks that same as when I started!!
I have taken down a structural wall between the kitchen / dining room, removed the ceiling in the kitchen. Hand built a new 'country' kitchen. Being an old house this has included, new plastering, new electrics, all new plumbing, a new pantry and I have built a new utility room out the back. I have been hard at it for about 6weeks now (possibly more) I will post some pics when its all finished.
I dont get crunchy people?
can I get you guys to build me a house as a friendly gesture to a vegan
