I think this should have a "Geoff/RedWellies don't look warning". Sorry, I didn't go past the first bit.
"Do what you can with what you have where you are."

I am really sorry if those pictures upset you.
I don't use those type of pictures often, but sometimes I feel it is necessary.
The pictures you see in the first screen are the only pictures you will see in the entire clip.
But yes, please don't look at this if you can't handle it!!!!
Sorry!
It's OK. I'm sure everyone else will give you feedback...I am the World's Most Weedy Person. And you are right, some people need to see these images.

Wellies, thanks for the warning. If they are disturbing animal pictures, they would have completely unravelled me....and your right, I'm sure many others will put in their 2 cents.
could you please explain it a bit?then i will look
Was a very moving video, well done Wanda. Was upsetting as has left me with a tear in my eye, as I am one of the world's most soppy people, but is definitely worth watching and think it could definitely inspire an omni to give up meat as it really makes you think as I think it would play on most people's conciences. The music is very fitting.
My husband wrote a song in 1995 that I absolutely love! It's called 'How Can We Do It?'.sugarmouse
This clip plays the music and shows the text. It does have pictures of animal abuse around it, because I felt that those pictures went best with the text.
I'm happy you liked it Tiggerwoo!
I cant watch it Wanda but I wish omnis were made to watch this sort of stuff...im assuming its videos of factory farming etc. I should be brave enough to watch it but even if I never watch an animal abuse video again....nothing is ever going to make me eat dairy/animal flesh. In fact...id rather eat a piece of cat poo than a bit of cheese!!
Don't worry Saucy, there aren't actually videos, there are a few piccies, but the most are some very moving and inspiring words along with some music.
No, it only has some pictures around the song text. No video!saucyvegan
I personally find it more on the mild side, but maybe I've seen too much in my life already.
Thanks Tiggs but im being a cowardly vegan custard at the mo. I just cant!!Tiggerwoo
Maybe tomoz!!
Yes, the music and words are very moving. It is a good idea.
I noticed on your main site that it doesn't come up within the first two pages of Goo gle for the word 'Vegan' A site called Brookly n Ve gan does. Yet, that site hardly mentions veganism. It doesn't have 'vegan' mentioned very much in its html source code. Yours does on your home page but it seems to be diluted with a lot with un-vegan words. I used to know a bit about search engine optimisation but have forgotten most of it. And criteria change for what the search engines look for. I'm not sure how the Brooklyn one comes so high. It might be because of all the links it has.
Your keywords are:
content="veganism, vegetarianism, vegan forum, forum, organic, GMO, pesticides, fertilizers, animal rights, gun control, forum, recipes, e-cards, nutrient information, protein, calcium, daily values, nutrient contents, animal cruelty, sweatshops, child labor, peace, cooking, cookbooks, quotes, vegan, vegetarian, animal education">
As I said, my search engine optimisation knowledge is a bit out of date but I think that it is still a good idea to focus on what you want people to search on. Perhaps you could have the unveganly words on the pages dealing with them?
The Vegan Society does that. For their home page, all their keywords contain 'vegan' or 'vegetarian'. On their 'animals' page, for instance, their first keywors are to do with animals. After them, they have veganly words. The same for their 'environment' page. The first keywords are to do with words concerning the environment.
Just a thought.
I could have sent you a PM but there are people here with websites who might not even know about search engine optimisation. I would advise them all to learn a bit about it. And to learn about the current situation - not the possibly out-of-date type that I know.
It's hard to figure out these search engines.
When you google for sweatshops and child labor, my site comes up first!
Same goes for gun control introduction.
Most peculiar.
Stupid Goo gle.
for now I will jsut say WOW, that was one of the mostmoving videos I have watched in a long time, it was fantastic, and yes it did bring me to tears but its ok, anything to get the message across to the public is worthy of a few tears.
I will take a longer look at it once I have gone through it ,
all i will say for now is that the video is brilliant.
I jsut wish we could get stuff like this in cinemas.
Well done and keep up the work its great.
thats so wonderful that your husband is vegan to! Wish I could find a husband like that!...Im proud to announce I DIDNT "pay for another to die" in my search for ballet slippers thanks again so much for coming to the rescue!
That was very nice! I was hoping someone was going to be singing the lyrics... They're not very disturbing photos, by the way. I too have seen much, much worse...
I've been checking out your website too, and you have done a wonderful job Wanda. Thank you!
Thanks forthebirds.
And yes, more people have asked my husband to sing on the clip.
Maybe we can convince him one day...
there is another one on there too which is about the dairy industry too:

They are such moving video poems ,
I can't get past the first bit either, I can't deal with pictures like that...
Bloody organisations keep sending me leaflets and I'm like "I know, I'm already trying as hard as I can, send them to the omnivores!"
I can't watch it. I agree with you Tilly about the leaflet thing!
I completely understand why some of you just can't watch it.
I have also chosen to protect myself and only watch these type of images when I need to while working on my site.
I just created a new MILD version. NO shocking images!!!!
I actually used pictures I took last month when I visited Farm Sanctuary.
You can watch this mild clip at this link.
