On Saturday 29th April, St Sidwell’s will be hosting a World Vegetarian Food Day. It will be a chance to sample fantastic food from culinary traditions around the world. There will be authentic dishes from the Middle East, Asia, the Caribbean, South America and Europe, and all produced without meat or fish, all healthy and nutritious as well as exciting and delicious.
It will also be a chance to find out more about the benefits of a meat free diet, and to visit some stalls with a global or fair trade theme. So whether you’re already vegetarian, thinking about becoming one, or simply fancy something a bit different for lunch on a Saturday, come along and enjoy this celebration of gastronomic delight.
