Post Vegan Mom's with vegan children

    Hi there,

I'm new to the forum.... was wondering if there are any vegan mom's who have vegan children and want to share some ideas for snacks and food for kids.

Also, I've heard alot of bad news about soy lately... so I switched my son to rice milk. Now I just don't know if I should totally avoid soy or what.

Hello Folk maiden. Glad to have you on board. I am impressed that you are raising vegan children.

I am sure the following threads will be of much use to you

    1. ) This
    2.) and This

There are quite a few threads about Soy and Soy products. You can make a search for them.

I think I happen to know a vegan mom on the forum. Actually, there are quite a few here. I will get in touch with her to find out and maybe you could exchange ideas. I will send you a PM about this.

    Welcome
    Kiran

From another vegan mom (me!)... several of us have already posted loads of day's worth of food ideas in this thread: "what did your vegan child/ren eat today?"

If you post anything in that thread, I'll definitely see it--and possibly respond quickly! (Toddlers have a way of keeping a mom busy, don't they?) Please feel free to post any of your ideas there as well. I'm always looking for new things.

Oh, and welcome to the forums!

Just wanted to say HI and welcome! I am a vegan mom with vegan kids....and loving every second of it!! My two daughters (one is 11 months old and the other is almost 3) have been vegan from birth, and my step daughter (who is 10) is now very close to becoming vegetarian.

It's definately not an *easy* lifestyle, but sooo very much worth it.
