I heard on National Public Radio the past two mornings about a study recently done comparing the health of middle age British people to American people. The study, supposed to be in latest Journal of American Medical Association, showed that British were much healthier. I really wasn't surprised to hear that. We have a major obesity problem here. What did surprise me was that the study didn't think eating habits were the difference in the results. It showed that lifestyle habits, for example walking more, made the difference.
I was interested to know if others think Brits are healthier? And if so, why?
Another interesting thing was they mentioned was that chip sandwiches (french fries sandwich) are very popular. What I want to know is HOW DO I MAKE ONE???
