I was reading Ripley's Believe it or Not - Bizarre Facts and it said that vitamin B12 occurs naturally in rain water.
Can anyone confirm this?

When the water is still, it can behold the moon.
Probably true, but I wouldn't want to drink rain water - all that pollution.
Also, it is thought (another article in this sub-forum) that Nitrous Oxide in car fumes kill of B12, so it may be that our rainwater doesn't contain it.
that depands on where you live i suppose...
I have also heard about this, but not seen any measurements or specific studies. B12 has been found in pond water, in river water, in sea water... if rain water is capable of containing pollution, I can't see why it shouldn't also be capable of containing something useful.
