Silk creamer in my coffee.
Tea usually black.
Depends on my mood lol
im a gannet..i love milky tea with loads of sugar...buit now i have it only occasionaly!
coffee..with non dairy creamer or soy cream..and it has to be hot!i drink it fast before it goes cold.
Tea (and don't even think about giving me decaf) with soya milk and no sugar.
I don't usually drink coffee, as I don't have a coffee machine thingy and instant coffee is pretty rank. It tastes okay if I dump loads of soya cream in it though.
I drink coffee black or just add a teaspoon to a mug of hot soy/rice milk and I take green tea/any herbal tea with fresh lemon juice.
If I'm in a sweet mood then I add drop of maple syrup too
follow your dreams...................
Rooibos Earl Grey with sweetened soya is my usual tipple.
Pob kindly recommended Yogi Licorice tea, and I can confirm it is a bit special
I just finished a cup of the yogi tea
I drink tea with or without soy milk, with no or loads of sugar (usually none - but sometimes feel like a sweet drink).
Coffee with or without soya milk, depending on mood/circumstances.
Green tea I have as strong as possible.
I drink decaf if I can - I still notice the small amount of caffeine, though.
Mostly I drink herbal and fruit teas.
"Danger" could be my middle name … but it's "John"
I like to put a slice of lemon or lemon juce in my tea. I don't drink coffee anymore, because i'm sensitive to migrain.
Green, always with the green, no sugar, no nothing, mmm... i probably drink around 6-10 cups a day
I use to be like that - especially while at college - but Ive switched to mostly Oolong tea now and green tea is my back up option

i drink both my coffee & tea straight.
i dont really drink much coffee anymore, i dont let myself have more than three cups a week. i get too dependant upon it if i drink it everyday, and eventually i end up drinking 8 - 10 cups a day, and feeling like crap all the time.
the hard thing is that i LOVE coffee.
a 10 oz double shot americano is like heaven to me

Same here JJ! I only let myself have a few cups a week now. For a while, I couldn't get by without 2-3 cups of coffee.
Peace, love, and happiness.

sometimes i think about drinking decaf... to fool myself, but the decafination chemicals are icky, and its hard to find organic swiss water process decaf espresso made in coffee shops....

Yeah, sometimes I have a cup of tea. Not exactly the same, and still has caffeine, but it's a little less.
Peace, love, and happiness.
i just discovered vanilla soy milk in tea is amazing...im thinking of asking local cafes to provide it and make vanilla soy lattes!!
ooohhhh vanilla soy lattes are sooo good! I don't have them that often but when I do its like heaven - and regular ones are good too! peets coffee has a non-dairy mocha freddo that I'm thinking of trying sometime too

I've been having my coffee black with two sugars lately as no matter how long I leave it to cool the soya milk seems to curdle
I have been having my regular intake of tea, one sugar and soya milk though as it doesn't seem to do the same as coffee.
I drink my tea black.
Try warming the soy milk. I pour my soy milk into the cup first, zap it in the microwave for 20 seconds, and then add the hot coffee and stir. Never curdles.Kitiara

Ugh black coffee
I like soy lattes and cuppacinos
I like berry infused herbal tea, which is already sweet and tasty on it's own. I like peppermint tea on its own too. Green tea IMO tastes like how cats piss smells
Tea with soymilk or rice milk! No sugar. DOn't like coffee or herbal teas
I will not eat anything that walks, runs, skips, hops or crawls. God knows that I've crawled on occasion, and I'm glad that no one ate me.
i like my coffee very milky with soy milk or soy creamer, no sugar.
I also like soy lattes, mochas and cafe au laits (with soy milk of course)
I can't drink coffee black, but for tea I don't mind too much, but prefer black tea and spiced teas with soymilk. Sometimes I drink herbal tea with a bit of soymilk to help cool it, but most herbals are better black/without milk. No sugar there either...
I LOVE coffee!!!
I drink it with some soy creamer or I just have a latte with soy milk or rice milk.
reg and flavored coffee, no sugar, always creamer can't stand black coffee, vanilla and hazlenut silk creamer are my two most used forms of creamer and they have sugar enough.....
I like lots of varieties of herbal teas with nothing added usually but sometimes silk creamer
This time of year, I like iced chai.

Let's do something about it!
wonder if it will be for release in the uk??
Surely it would be. Sign up on their website Cedar, and they'll send you an alert when it's opening near you.
the link isn't working for me.

Capitalism is alive and well. Not only are the workers being ripped off but the consumer who pays $2.50 for a .20 cup of coffee is also ripped off. After watching the clip, I feel even better about not going to places like starbucks. I do buy organic, free trade, shade grown coffee that I make at home and carry with me. My thermos keeps my coffee warm all day. I could never justify blowing money on an overpriced/slave trade cup of coffee. I think they money we spend on crazy 'convenience' items could probably feed the hungry. Thanks for sharing that, I will try to watch it when it comes out.
Here's a video on the present day slave trade:

hi, does anyone know if the syrups that they have in all coffee shops (the ones they add to coffees - hazlenut, vanilla, caramel etc) are vegan?? i really fancy having a 'cooler' at my favourite coffee shop (soya milk, crushed ice and syrup) but when i asked the girl if the syrups were vegan she was rather non-commital! any ideas?
good point triona.d, those syrups are yummy - i have the almond one in my decaf soy latte - i hope they are!
i never thought about that
I think for the most part, they are. The ones I've seen are, anyway.
Perhaps you could ask her if you'd be allowed to read the label on the syrup bottle?
thanks. yeah, i'm always too embarrased to ask to read the label but maybe i should just swallow my pride! thanks, tri
I'm pretty sure they are as well...I've been told mint lattes and caramel lattes are vegan when made with soy milk...and I purchase them every once in a while, so I certainly hope so
i have some different kind of coffee syrups at home, and they're all vegan - vanilla, hazelnut and caramel
i've been to vegan-friendly coffee shops and they've used these syrups. also, i've never seen non-vegan syrups in grocery store, so i assumed that the syrups that regular coffee shops use are also vegan. i've never asked though, and i guess assuming is not a good thing...thanks for bringing this up. i don't go to coffee shops all that often but it would be a good thing to know when i'm in the mood for a flavored latte or mocha

This thread really makes me want coffee now!
I just use vanilla extract when I want to feel all fancy with my coffee. I might have to pick up some syrups.
Peace, love, and happiness.
you should, tigerlily! my favorite flavors and mint, raspberry, and coconut.

Mmm. Minty coffee sounds delicious!
Peace, love, and happiness.
I used to keep the Hazelnut and Vanilla flavours. Yum!
I bet the mint syrup would also work nicely in a hot chocolate.
One has to read the labels to be sure. And even then, there are iffy ingredients like "sugar, natural flavoring". Caramel coloring is OK, yet caramel (if real) is made from butter! Also I had a huge surprise once at my local coffee place when I reached for the do-it-yourself topping cinnamon container. They hadn't bothered to put it in a cute little metal shaker, it was the giant restaurant-supply sized [clear plastic] container, so it still had the ingredients list on it. It wasn't labeled "cinnamon" it was labeled "strudel topping" and it contained...........................[drum roll please]...............BUTTERFAT!
I asked the barista if this is what I had been using for years, and she said, "No, but when we run out of cinnamon, we use that instead, it's really the same. Try it! "
Needless to say, I now avoid unlabeled "cinnamon".
i think alot of the time chemicals are used to de-caff things but i'm pretty sure that if it's organic de-caff then it's okay. i worked in a vegan cafe whose de-caff was organic and it was done with electrolysis! i try not to drink caffine and i try not to have de-caff unless it's organic but sometimes i cave...
For those of you who love coffee/think you can't do without caffeine, I think you should check out the products/beverages on this website.
http://www.soycoffee.com
As well, it's organic, suitable for vegans, suitable for celiacs, suitable for those with wheat/gluten intolerances, no added sugar, and more.
i'd try it!! - if i lived in the states that is..
Yum! I will look for it!
How does it compare to barley coffee?
Peace, love, and happiness.
