I love fruit! I eat tons of it everyday. To choose a favourite is difficult. I think it's easier to tell you what I don't like...pears and grapes.

Really? I hate fruit, I never eat any of it. Except pears and grapes, I like them.

Pears are great with Custard.
Everything's great with custard!

I love all fruit but I would be really sad without oranges..
I don't eat much fruit, as I tend to prefer vegetables and that sort of thing.
But clementines and apples are good, and mangoes (sp?) are amazing.
My favourite is still pineapple!
Oh I forgot about pineapples!
To be honest, I like all fruit, I just find it really off-putting when you get bits of the stalk (as in grapes) or woody type bits in pineapples, or the white pith in oranges.
Ok, right. I am taking a break from the forum until this totally hilarious joke has been exhausted and you all revert back to your real avatars. See you soon, hopefully.
i absolutely love fruit!pineapple, pretty much all melon and berries (but especially water and blue haha), apples, clementines, purple grapes, bananas.
My favourite has to be canteloupe melon. And grapes. And I love pears too!

i love baked apples filled with lovely organic local jam

I've really gone off fruit lately-it's too sticky and sweet. I do love organic Pink Lady and Ambrosia apples (is it my imagination, or does organic just taste better?), though. And raspberries, blackberries, strawberries....
LOL, sorry to be a bit slow, what is this avatar joke?
Getting back on topic, I don't eat enough fruit but I do quite like blueberries, which are closely related to bilberries, which I remember from when I was a child and we used to pick them in the mountains on holiday in Wales. I would eat most of them straight off the bush and could not wait until we got back to our caravan! Got very purple juice-stained fingers and face.
Otherwise I do occasionally eat bananas, but not much other fruit.
A few people had a pic of russ as there avatar LH.
I only really like gala apples, conference pears, green grapes, honey dew melon, cantaloupe melon and those orange permision whatsit things.
So I guess those are my favourites. lol

I haven't come across any fruit that I don't like. However, lately with bananas I've been preferring to eat them if their added to grains that can be used as cereal. In my opinion, cereal doesn't taste complete without at least fruit. I like to add nuts or seeds and sometimes flax or hemp oil.
Pineapple
(How can anybodys favourite fruit be lemons?)
In my opinion, someone would have to have seriously durable "sour" tastebuds, if they meant lemons being their favourite by eating them like any other fruit.
strawberries when they're super plump soon after picked out the field and warm offa the sunshine..or really ripe bananas.

Grapefruit, it's been that way since I was 4.
The only fruits that I don't like are melons, especially cantaloupes.
i don't have a single favorite fruit, but tropical fruits are my favorite group of fruits (pineapple, kiwi, mango, banana, etc)

My favourite is fresh, organic pineapple (non-organic tastes 1000% different, I think...)
I personally can't stomach non-organic. Surely my stomach is sensitive to those nasty pesticides.
On a positive note---pineapple is indeed delicious, pavotrouge.
Cherries!!!
And the season is almost upon us. They are nice here, and I am very very very blessed to live in an area that is chock full of cherry trees - I have been watching the fruit developing on the trees on my way to work over the past while now.
What you buy in the shops, organic or not simply does not compare in flavour to what you get off the tree yourself. Last year I was fortunate to be in Italy during cherry season (which comes about a month earlier there) and gorged myself on the fruit.
Amazing stuff but probably good that it has such a short season. I eat way too much of them when they are available.
mangos yum!!!

Anyway, I love it, and avocado best

hmmm... i would say i do also really enjoy organic pineapple... sometimes i just eat a whole one for breakfast on the weekends... well it turns into an all-day pinapple eating spree for the big ones. but it makes me happy

yeah, the first time I tasted organic pineapple I was all like "Wow, I actually like that stuff!"- I never really like pineapple before and had some traumatic experiences connected with my ex-girlfriend and a pineapple... don't ask ^_^
Mangos. And kiwis. Those would be my favorites.
I never really liked watermelon but recently, I've been eating it a lot and I really like it now. I only like it when it's ripe and dark pink inside.
Peace, love, and happiness.
I love cherries too

Mmmmmm rhurbarb crumble
Raspberries
