that's it. I'm deleting it!

^ The bum saga is funny. I think I would delete it ... sad, but too much scope for confusion .
I am feeling the need to regain the fifteen pounds of muscle which I lost. I don't feel weaker very often, but that is part of the problem. I'm not as physically capable as I feel I still am, so possible injury or 'shortfall' issues.
I might make it a target.
P.S. : This happened when I was training for an office job.

^ Good luck...
Let me take over your body, I'm sure I could put 15 pounds on it pretty quickly, I'm good at that. ...Problem, it may not be in muscle...just fat. Haha.
Actually, to be perfectly honest of late I've lost weight also, and it was definitely in muscle, as I'm thinner but softer. (So you definitely don't want my help.) Lol.
Anyway...I've been all sick for a while, so exercising wasn't an option a lot of the time. But...I have been feeling a bit better and am now making a real effort to eat really healthy and exercise everyday...I know it won't cure me but it can't hurt. Actually feels really good to be doing something physical after being practically bedridden for months. Such a hard balance though...I need to eat well and exercise in order to be strong, fit, and healthy, which will hopefully help me get better eventually...but I also need to rest and sleep a lot, and planning and cooking elaborate meals hasn't really been an option... I think, I'm getting there though.
Wish me luck, my vegan kin.

^ Good luck! I hope that you get better soon.
I hate it when I'm studying and a velociraptor throws bananas on me.
^ Thanks!

^ No problem. Just hope that you're doing alright.
I hate it when I'm studying and a velociraptor throws bananas on me.
I think exercise, good food, rest, and sleep go together fairly easily... the laundry, and the troll evasion etc., cause the drag for me.
I hope you gather your necessaries.
A guy said to me the other day
"...you've lost loads of weight... you used to be really fit."
I explained to him that he was much younger then, and it was just an illusion caused by my big veins.
Bike tomorrow. No swimming... my ear has got green stuff.

there's a post on this website which i thought was pretty encouraging called 'why you should sit on the couch and eat yourself silly'

i'm not really sure what to think about the bloke who writes this blog, i watched a few of his videos on youtube and think he is pretty annoying to be honest but he does make sense a lot of the time and he is pretty inspiring :/
I'm starting to get really frusterated. I just finished week 5 of this very strenuous work-out program and haven't lost a pound. I'm only trying to lose 4-9 lbs. It should not be this difficult. It's like my body has decided to settle at a higher weight now that I've turned 30... I'm definitely more fit and I feel strong, but I can't fit comfortably into any of my clothes. finally broke down and bought a few things yesterday for this hot weather. I joined a calorie counting website a few days ago. It's nice because it tracks your nutrients too. I hope that works...

^ How annoying Ruby. There are people talking about the Insanity workout on another forum I'm on.
I haven't been doing exercise for ages so I have just been trying to get more walking into my day but it's so hot at the moment here.
I know the heat makes it much harder! We've been waking up at 5am to exercise, when it's still pretty cool. I heard that working out in the heat actually makes the work-out more effective... if you can do it! It makes me feel faint.
What were those people saying about Insanity? Good stuff or bad?
Each snowflake in an avalanche pleads not guilty.
They were saying positive things about Insanity and said they were getting good results.
Well, that's good to hear!
I just started phase 2 so hopefully the pounds will come off soon!

What time do you go to bed, kitteh? I've been asleep by 10 the last 2 nights and when the alarm goes off at 4:55 it's all I can do to get up. It's 7:15 now and I could fall back to sleep in a second if I put my head down, and that's after an hour work-out, a shower and 2 cups of black coffee.

Two mornings back, at 04:00 am, I set an alarm to get to my allotment nice and early. I often get up at 05:00 for swimming, but I was surprised just how asleep I still was, despite walking about and doing things.
I walked to town today [maybe 17 minutes each way], especially for the exercise ...I only wanted carrots. Did some chin-ups on my newly secured bar, and some upside down sit ups from same bar [dangerous].
My new walking boots are finally softening up, but I noticed a few more symptoms of losing fitness.

^ serious...that sounds terrifying...
i've been walking 5 miles monday, tuesday, and wednesday...i want to do yoga in the morning but havn't been able to wake up... I havn't noticed any body difference, but i've only been doing it for 3 weeks...this being my 3rd...but i've been in such a better mood! which is wonderful considering i've been miserable...
once it gets a bit warmer and they clean my pool i want to start swimming...as long as my SO is with me...i don't want my creepy neighbor talking to me while i'm swimming...i swear he is stealing my underwear from the community washing machine....

welllll we share it with the other tenants....but there really isn't many of them...worst part is its not kept up very well...but its better than not having one, especially when its 110 degrees outside....
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
i want to hear more about the creepy neighbour, he sounds awesome! eeurgh someone used to steal my mums undies off the washing line then my dad caught him in the act one day and chased him out of the garden and he never came back :0 maybe they've got the right idea in china selling them in vending machines if it stops people from from lurking in hedges and stealing from washing machines and frightening people and stuff hmm
he is an interesting fellow, says that he is a war vet...which for some reason i don't believe...he is ALWAYS drunk! we got home from a friends house at around 7 in the morning and apparently he started drinking at 4 in the morning and ran out of booze so he was walking to the market... and he is really really nosy...you can't do anything outside with out him coming and sticking his nose in your business....overall he is a nice guy but he bothers me just a tad.... eep!
I've developed a head cold, should i walk today or skip it and rest up?
"i'm rejecting my reflection, cause i hate the way it judges me."
I do not miss sharing my living space. A pool would be nice but I probably wouldn't use it either with that guy around! We have a pool here but it won't be usable in the foreseeable future. At the moment it's home to tons of frogs... It's on the list of expensive things that need fixin'.
I've finally started dropping some pounds! The calorie counting is actually fun for me. It's like a puzzle every day trying to get all my vitamins and minerals within a certain calorie range. Hey, whatever works! Plus I'm exercising and feeling great, and my boss has started Insanity as well so I have someone with whom to commiserate.

I always wanted to try yoga :P My workout is, from Monday-Friday. I ride my bike for 2 and a half miles. Then i do so many push ups and ab work outs. Then i ride my bike home (which is about other half mile). So yeah (: I love working out! It makes me feel so good!
It's beautiful............great country roads for cycling in. I would love to cycle around the Antrim coast road.
I don't think I could manage push ups etc like you do...........although I could probably benefit from being a bit more toned.
I like Sandra, she keeps making me giggle. Daft little lady - Frosty
Cyling in Colorado sounds wonderful.
You've got me thinking I should start cycling again...............I'll have to drag the bike out of the garage and give it a clean up!

I think I will!

I just did about 15 mins on my trampoline. I haven't done it for ages and I found it quite difficult.
Further to my discovery a few months ago that decorating is good exercise, yesterday we were told at lunchtime that someone wanted to come and look at the house (we've just put it up for sale). Cue 5 hours of cleaning and tidying - excellent exercise, especially I had absolutely no time to stop and snack (a bad habit when I am at home). Not sure that my usual half hour of yoga is going to have the same effect today .
The past 2 nights we've been jogging 3/4 of mile a few hours after dinner, on top of doing Insanity in the mornings. I've never been able to run and am very surprised at how easy it is now! I gotta tell ya though, I am in pain this morning! My shins are so sore I'm walking at a snail's pace.

Hi guys and gals, I'm new here.
For me being vegan is also about being healthy, although I maintain a vegan lifestyle for more reasons than health. I am a wellness provider in one of my jobs and I've never been a do as I say, not as I do type of person. I eat a healthy, balanced diet and exercise regularly, although not as much as I'd like. I have five jobs and four kids after all!
I alternate between yoga and pilates at least 6 days a week, even if it is only for 30 minutes, as well as ride my bike daily. After having four kids in under three years, my body looks better than it ever did before having kids. And it is because I now have more responsibility to live as a good example.
Thanks for having me.
I can fit into my jeans again! I'm down 5 lbs as of this morning. Only 3 more to go for my goal weight... although 5 more would be ideal. I'm not sure that's possible considering I've put on a bit more muscle. I've had a very naughty food day today, but that's allowed on occasion.

Well done RubyDuby! I am a big fan of running - I love it.
