what a great question...I love things like this.
Sorry to be greedy but I think I'll have to make it my last vegan day of meals...

Breakfast: cup of redbush tea with soya milk, banana and peanut butter on toast
Lunch: houmous, toasted pitta, carrot, cucumber, pepper, beetroot
Dinner: Chickpea and vegetable korma with brown rice and onion salad

actually I reckon if I had to live on that day in day out I could!

I find it's the only thing that really hits the spot though when you just want a bit of sweet stodge!

It would probably be a vegan roast dinner with all the trimmings. I would definitely get vegan cheesecake for dessert as I still have never tried it and have it with all the really lovely American ice-creams that I have never tried. I could have a scoop of every one that has ever been made.

I would like a vegan ice cream sundae with lots of B'nice vanilla or Rice Dream vanilla (depending on location) plus fresh strawberries and raspberries.

i would probably have a Chinese meal. spring rolls, mock duck in plum sauce, steamed broccoli with mock prawns, deep fried tofu, and pak choi fried in garlic. if i could eat anything else after that i'd probably have a chocolate cheesecake for dessert.

pancakes with apple, dates and agave
vegan pizza from the veggie bar
    vegan lumberjack cake
hot chips with pink salt on a white roll
    chocolate
lots of soy chai lattes to wash it down. No, maybe I would create vegan 'cock sucking cowboys' (alcoholic shots) and drink about 12 in a row. If it's my last meal I don't have to worry about the migraine due to alcohol cause hopefully I'll be dead b/r it hits - or wish I was!

There's this awesome veg restaurant in Vancouver, so I'd have a meal from there.

Starter would be warm yam dip with warm flatbread and tortilla chips.
Entree would be this peanut pasta dish they make (pasta, cauliflower, tofu, peanut sauce, peanuts, chopped baby spinach on top).
Dessert would be a big fat slice of vegan sugar pie (which tastes like caramel pie).

All washed down with a jug of their Sangria.

I'd have a mahoosive "steak" and mushroom pie with mashed potatoes, parsnips and roasted brocolli...covered in thick onion gravy.

For desert I'd have a huge apple pie with every flavour of vegan ice cream available.

I once read a suitably macabre article about people on death row and the things they choose as their last meals, accompanied by photos. Basically the people wanted food that reminded them of growing up, their backgrounds, who they were. The meals just looked so sad, it was awful. Its weird cause the stuff I had growing up was meat, roasts and meat and two veg and stuff. I think id have to have cucumber and marmite sandwiches with no crusts, a carton of orange juice, a packet of salt and venegar crisps!! I used to have that in my lunch box when i was little. ;-)

Mine would be a massive unhealthy breakfast.
Banana pancakes, some smothered in vegan butter and syrup the rest with PB. Crunchy home fries with onions and ketchup. some kind of vegan sausage patties and bacon. Chocolate soymilk.
They wouldn't have to kill me, I'd just eat till I exploded

I realize this is slightly off topic however I really need to ask now -

    Is gravy usually vegan?
Also how is gravy in the US different to the one in the UK?
I haven't eaten gravy for years - I don't even remember what it tastes like!

I also wonder how gravy is different in different countries... from my experience, every cooks makes a different one, no matter in which country.

In Germany, it's traditionally made with the fat from sauteeing meat, so definitely not vegan. People only eat gravy with meat, usually the Sunday roast here so I guess it might be made different in other places.

There are gravy mixes that are vegan, nonetheless.

My last vegan meal would be my favorite sandwich:

    2 slices whole wheat bread
    1/2 avocado
    Veganaise
    sliced tomato
    sprouts
    sliced cucumber
    slice of Toffuti Cheese

    It's addictive!

I'm right there with you DG, I dont remember what it tastes like. I just associate it with the dead turkey at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm not even sure what its made out of, but I have memories of my dad putting chopped up nasty animal parts in it.

In the UK it's generally translucent with or without small bits of veg in; in the USA it's opaque, very thick, and lumpy!

    1. Tempeh burger with garlic sauce and veggies (think it had mushrooms too, which would be superb). Oh. It's wonderful. But my hands were a mess afterward.
    2. Frozen chocolate hemp milk - good desert if you don't know how to bake and you want to go for low calories
    3. rice milk - why the heck do parents try to force their kids to drink cows milk when this stuff is available ???
    4. vegan cheddar cheese on multigrain crackers - I used the follow your heart one for the first time today; the texture was odd but the taste was stronger and better than the actual cheese we used to buy.
    5. stuffed bell peppers. yup.
    6. dark chocolate. Even before I was vegan, I craved dark chocolate and didn't care for milk chocolate, so what a great excuse to INSIST that any gift of chocolate be a particular sort of dark chocolate (lacking milk fat, casein, etc.)?
    7. vegan chili - I had a great one recently, but it had great flavor and spice.
    8. vegan sloppy joe with steamed broccoli and other veggies (like red and green bell peppers) fried mushrooms, cilantro, and stuff like that added on.
    9. spring rolls! Unfortunately since I have been vegan I haven't had a spring roll, since the cafeteria always seems to serve egg rolls.
    10. lentils. I love lentils. yup.

...and lots of other stuff, like salads and fruits and soups and pastas and pitas and sandwiches!
